Kanchogura is a plastered warehouse located to the north of the Head Temple Shoin, between the bathhouse and Naishikakura.
The gabled two-story front entrance features sangawarabuki pantiles, while the southern facade has a plastered pair of swing doors with an eave added to the entrance.
The board frog-leg struts under the eave are adorned with the emblem of Saikyo-ji Temple, featuring three sparrows.
The outer walls have plastered upper sections and vertical board paneling on the lower sections.
Skylight windows are fitted on the front and eastern sides.
