Facing east at the front of the Founder’s Hall, this four-legged gate features flanking tsuijibei clay walls that protrude forward before sharply bending outward to either side.
The roof is covered with cypress bark in a hip-and-gable style, adorned with karahafu undulating bargeboard gables on both the front and back.
While the bracket complex is simple with 3-on-1 supports, the gate boasts diverse and colorful carvings, such as dragons and lions on the arch beams, along with transom carvings, board transoms, and intricate decorative metal fittings, all contributing to its ornate design.
